Love this pub. Traditional, home cooked food, fantastic welcome and service from the bar staff, lots of tables, lots of parking. It's a nice clean pub.
For lunch we had the chilli and rice and the curry and rice, both were lovely. My partner enjoyed the real ale on offer too.
This is our local pub and the road currently runs through a construction site, which can mean a longer journey to reach it. This will improve in time and is well worth the visit. Thank you for a lovely visit.

I went here with a group of friends for my birthday lunch in August. It wasnt great weather so we dined inside. We passed through the lovely, music themed garden on the way into the pub and I believe they hold music events here as well. A lot of thought has gone into this and it has to be one of the quirkiest pub gardens I've seen.
The interior decor was a similar theme, it isn't a huge pub so booking is probably wise at busier times.
The staff were friendly and chatty and the food was good pub food. I had the scampi and chips which was very nice and there was plenty of food on the plate for all the dishes chosen.
All in all a pleasant lunch and I would be happy to return.
